The Zen of Neutral Spine.
👉Previous squat video: ua-cam.com/video/zcYZhR1D_Hw/v-deo.html
Squatting and deadlifting supposedly involves maintaining a neutral spine, but how do you know if your spine is actually neutral? What does a neutral spine really even mean in an asymmetric body? Most people are not actually squatting and deadlifting with neutral spines. They are actually in spinal extension. Postural Restoration has tests that show whether someone is actually in a neutral state of rest, or whether they are in an extended state of rest, which isn't really a state that you want to live in.

Your FEET and BRAIN Determine Posture and Pain: My Story in Pictures

My personal story to illustrate how your posture, pain, and movement is the result of how your brain uses your senses to move through space and how you breathe. It only cares about what it senses, the influence of gravity, and threat. Your posture...
Jaw Pain and Hypermobility (Is it ALL connected?)

Resolving Your Brain's Pain-Anxiety Loop FOR GOOD!

Pain is a symptom that can't be treated because pain is generated by the brain. Why the brain is generating a pain response is the great mystery of pain resolution. Left foot pronation? I thought a problem with the left AIC is over-pronation on the left with a right foot that has compensatory over supination due to the lateralization to the right trying to stabilize. I typically see people are turning there pelvis outward on the right in an effort to open up that right hip and then have to push off then inside right foot because they loose pronation. Love your explanations.

Bro, the psoas is completely relaxed when squatting. It seems to me that you have completely misunderstood the deep squat and its impact on the lower spine. When squatting, the muscles from the outside of the back are stretched and that is the principle why squatting helps with lower back pain due to L5S1.

Your videos are most interesting. I´ve been studying the mechanics of my spine but they seem complex because I have an scoliosis from birth and 2 calcified vertebrae in my lumbar spine and my upper ribs are twisted with a protrusion from the chest of 2 cm compared with my upper left ribs. My right leg is shorter. I am trying to feel my left heel, and pronating with the right one. I feel less pain in my low back pain in the right side but I breathe easily with my left side and I feel that I've always used the left side of the diaphragm more then the right. Thanks for sharing this new approach for us all. (Really don't know what minimalist shoes are).

I can't understand why shoes are important. I've seen a PRI therapist who recommended shoes for me. They helped me walk better along with the PRI techniques I did, but I still can't understand, if we are trying to sense the ground wouldn't being barefoot or wearing minimalist shoes be better? The shoes she recommended are like traditional running shoes that pinch my toes and have a slope from heel to toe. Doesn't that mess up our posture more as well?

Best way to relax the tongue is bringing head down. Like your chin to your neck. Not super hard. Jus enough to change that posture of the head, in turn, stretching the back of your neck. I did it to stretch that area and it fixed EVERY problem I had. Neck pain back pain, voice, tense tongue, better breathing. Everything. Gone. I can't even recognize all but I just feel good. Holding that position all day starts as tiring and uncomfortable but the next day your great. Key is to keep the practice.

I have been doing PRI (not much lately), for over 2 years and something really interesting happened. I developed so much hyperawareness that I started noticing the energies that moved through and around my body. Am talking really really strong energy like it could not be unnoticed when I was still. To the point where it felt like my whole body was having sex with itself and was about to have an orgasm (but it wasnt like a normal orgasm, this was something else). Basically I realized that I awoke the kundalini energy just by the hyperawareness that PRI helped me develop, cause I have always been a sensitive individual, but now even more 😂. Even with all that, my jaw and cranium are still stuck. Ears and jaw mainly is where I feel all that energy got stuck and didnt travel up. I wanted to thank you for the content you put in here, and to comment on my experience cause its honestly so interesting
